WE HAVE A NEW SPACE!!

On May 1st, we signed a 3-year lease on 1,500 square feet. If you remember The Off Shoot, it’s about that size. We are moving our worldly goods into storage space and turning this raw warehouse space into a space that will function as our classroom, our rehearsal studio, and a venue for tiny audiences.

USING IT
The plan is to make the space available to the community at truly affordable rates for rehearsals, small performances, meetings, craftworks, you name it. As soon as rates and availability are determined, we will make that available on our website.

GETTING IT READY
We are spending the next 6 weeks getting it ready for use… installing HVAC, installing a floor that won’t break our knees, hanging lights, doing all the things. We always need cash, goods or labor, so email us at info@rudemechs.com if you’d like to throw in on one of those things.

COME CHECK IT OUT!!

We have to be ready in time for the staged readings of Fixing the Last Henry, so we’re going to have a happy hour the day before. Come to either, come to both – we will be there either way!

COMMUNITY DROP IN – June 14 5pm – 7pm – We will be dirty and tired and happy, no doubt. We will have beers. No need to RSVP, just drop in and say hi and take a peek!

FIXING THE LAST HENRY – June 15 and 22 at 5pm – Tickets are available now at https://rudemechs.com.

When space is valued in dollars and cents, when the future is reduced to capital accrued, then our most important contribution as an arts organization is to provide alternative ways of engaging in the now.
