Tiny Lie

Tiny Lie

a work-in-progress production by Eva Claycomb

presented by Rude Mechs as part of our Rude Fusion program

Presented September 19 – 28, 2013

at The Off Center

ABOUT THE PLAY

Rude Mechs is proud to co-produce this event created by local performance phenom Eva Claycomb as part of our Rude Fusion series.

Tiny (Lie) Musical is a thirty minute foray into wanton ambiguity. The protagonists are liars, the actors are liars, and the playwright is a liar too. Written on the ukulele and brought to life in three part harmony and projected light, dreams are shattered, crying ensues, deny the absolute, clap your hands.

Eva Claycomb is from Corvallis, Oregon. She is a graduate of Hampshire College, as well as the directing program at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. Since moving to Austin, she has worked with Rude Mechs and Rubber Repertory. This is her first musical.

Performed by Pat Shaw and Kerri Atwood with musician Devin James Fry and illustrator Ray Ray Mitrano.

Run time about 30 minutes.

A pretty good time!!
